India presents a fascinating picture of cultural richness. Civilization of India is one of the oldest alive civilizations of the world. Because of its tolerance and capacity of internalizing alien influences, its culture has been able to be one of the oldest, continuous and uninterrupted living cultures of the world. The wonderful process of assimilation and fusion of different cultures has been a continuous process of the Indian civilization. It contributed to the cultural richness of India.

numerous castes and communities living here for time immemorial; despite
numerous foreign invasions, migrations and assimilation of new groups; and
despite cultures of Hindus, Islam and Christians.
